Professional Biography
Mr. Robert White began his Engineering career at the age of sixteen running errands for a local firm. From running bluelines and delivering plans in the early 70's, Robert has thrived on his engineering experiences and has become one of Jacksonville's most respected and trusted Civil Engineering Firm partners. Former City of Jacksonville Mayor, John Delaney, recognized his expertise. In 1998 he appointed Robert to The City of Jacksonville Planning Commission. Robert served as Vice Chairman of the Commission for the 2002-2003 term and Chairman for two (2) one year terms.
As the Principal of Taylor & White in charge of Site Planning and Re-Zonings, Robert is responsible for very detailed and code compliant site layouts, coordinating public meetings to enlighten the community to the client's development in their neighborhood, and coordinating with City and County Officials. Robert is also responsible for the quality control and preliminary client coordination of all construction plans and documents from Taylor & White.
